Message from our Chairman & CEO

“As a global company, it is so important to have diverse perspectives and people that reflect the patients, customers and markets that we serve. In addition to driving growth, this leads to greater diversity of thought, which fuels innovation, creates a better, more rewarding place to work and helps us attract and retain top talent.”

– Michael F. Mahoney, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Our Plans to Accelerate Progress

We know that change happens from the top down—and the bottom up. To influence both, we’re putting ambitious goals in place to increase diversity at our supervisor and manager levels. By reshaping our core, we can accelerate meaningful progress in our journey toward a more inclusive culture.

In 2018, we set goals:

Top 10 recognized leader in focus areas: women, people of color, disability and LGBTQ | 20% increase of people of color at supervisor and manager levels in the US and Puerto Rico | 40% increase in global representation of women at supervisor and manager levels

Getting There Takes Focus

Our 2020 goals are focused on accelerating our diversity and inclusion efforts through specific strategies that engage a wider span of new and existing talent to continue to grow our business. This is one leg in our journey. Our overall D&I strategy is much bigger.
